Kristina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Inclusive Childhood Education with a minor in English Language and Arts from SUNY Cortland and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Literacy. She is certified in Grades 1–6 and holds a specialization in 7–12 English. Her experience spans preschool through high school, including work with children with disabilities and in general education classrooms.

Kristina brings a strong foundation in differentiated instruction, a deep understanding of literacy development, and a passion for helping students grow with confidence, clarity, and joy in their learning.

With 20 years of experience teaching middle school math—9 in the classroom and 11 online—Alana specializes in making math clear, accessible, and confidence-building for every scholar. 

She also has extensive experience designing and reviewing math content for grades 6–12. 

Her teaching style breaks down complex ideas into manageable steps, encourages a growth mindset, and connects math to the real world in a positive, supportive environment.

I'm a longtime educator who loves to help students and athletes reach their fullest potential.

As an instructional designer, college adjunct instructor, and certified cognitive skills assessment and training practitioner who enhances students' academic and athletic performance, my interactive, student-centered teaching style incorporates innovative methods, such as games, to improve memory, focus, and executive functioning skills.

As a doctoral candidate in sports leadership and administration at Concordia University Chicago, with a Master's degree in Instructional Technology from Towson University and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Bowie State University, I combine my diverse skills to inspire and empower learners of all ages.

I’m so excited to be here and share what I’ve learned from over 20 years in the criminal justice field. I started as a patrol officer in 2005, later worked in narcotics and violent crime units, and eventually became a Special Agent in Charge with the Georgia Department of Corrections. I’ve led investigations across the state and now train other agents at the Special Agent Academy.

Teaching and mentoring are passions of mine, and I’m thrilled to help students explore the world of criminal justice.

I’m Ava Sochet, a certified early childhood educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 2). I’m nearing completion of my Master’s in Literacy and have been a lead teacher in a preschool classroom for the past five years. I’m passionate about creating engaging, inclusive learning spaces where my students feel confident, supported, and excited to grow. I strive to provide joyful and empowering experiences that nurture each child’s development. I’m committed to meeting each student’s unique needs, fostering a strong foundation for their academic and social growth, and creating meaningful moments that leave a lasting positive impact.

Sagona Perryman is an accomplished international educator with over 20 years of experience in the U.S. and the UAE. Her career began with Chicago Public Schools in 1994, progressing through roles such as Literacy Coach and Assistant Principal. She holds two Master’s degrees, a TEFL certification, and a professional license in Educational Leadership.

Sagona has taught abroad, led literacy initiatives, and now serves as a Reading Interventionist in Chicago. She also sits on the boards of two nonprofits supporting youth and is developing a patented educational invention.

I’m a passionate teacher from Oklahoma. I graduated in 2022 from University of Arkansas-Fort Smith go Lions. I have spent the last three years teaching a variety of subjects at a small rural school here in Oklahoma. I recently got married to my wonderful husband and we have a giant Doberman-Great Dane named Cerberus. I am a voracious reader, a published poet, and I love to embroider. I am incredibly passionate about all subjects that fall under the umbrellas of ELA & history as well as electives such as theatre and music. 

I have been teaching for over 10 years. My initial teaching experience was in person, but I have been exclusively online for the past 4 years with the exception of occasional in person tutoring. I hold a dual Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood and Special Education but have worked with students through high school. I enjoy breaking down the “why” and “how” we learn so that students possess the tools to think for themselves, which I feel is the root of the Socratic Method of teaching. I really enjoy helping students find themselves through education as confidence translates through all things in life.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy natural bodybuilding, reading, and traveling. My fiance and I have one cat named Hunni who is so loving. I am also a musician and am on track to study Music Cognition/Therapy and hope to integrate this in my education in the future. I look forward to working with you and your students!
